Caitlyn Jenner. But does Klare have what it takes to make it in Malibu? AM I CAIT? examines how transgender Americans choose the safety of white queer conservatism over true liberation.

On a flight home from college, Turner, grieving a recent heartbreak, meets Page, an eccentric fellow traveler, fascinated by Turner's sorrow. As the pair discuss what it means to love and be loved as two transgender people in cishet society, the plane suddenly begins to nosedive. Page refuses to abandon the plane, leaving Turner to decide if they will jump out to resume their life of heartbreak, or go down with Page to what will most certainly be their death. Transcendence Airways asks the question: What if all trans people go to heaven?

In 2004, Mary Ketsl, wants nothing more than to be pregnant. Only problem? She’s a transgender woman. When Mary’s wish comes true by means of feline driven immaculate conception, her relationship with her wife Mavet (a closeted trans man) is pushed to the breaking point. Mavet, under the influence of an evil talking plant, sabotages Mary’s pregnancy, and takes her baby away. 20 years later, the trauma of losing her baby has sent Mary down a dark path. And when a familiar face makes an unexpected return into her life, Mary’s understanding of her the truth of her pregnancy is forever changed. A multigenerational transgender family explores queer temporality, OCD ritualism, and judaic maternalism.
